Dave Hare was born in Yorkshire, UK in 1951 and drifted into photography aroundthe age of 15. He attended an Institute of Incorporated Photographers course at Leeds Technical College and then went to Medway School of Art to study Fashion and Advertising Photography. For the next 20 or so years he worked as an advertising, still life and corporate photographer in London.

With the advent of digital photography more avenues opened and he moved into people photography. He now shoots exclusively digitally, both in studio and on location. He finds the versatility and creative options stimulating. This of course links very well with his glamour, nude and erotic work. He uses photo digital manipulation to achieve the same ends as printers aspire to in the dark room.

He is now a member of The Guild, and The Association of Erotic Artists. He has featured in the 2008 and 2009 Erotic Revues year books, and is a regular contributor to Jade Magazine.
